Gay People with Pets was created by two former school friends, who met again after many years and realised they both had a passion for their pets. One is single, straight and runs a national petsitting service, the other is single and gay and has a Daschund called Guy who is the highlight of her life.. Both have experienced the difficulties of bringing a potential partner into their lives where their pets are their priority.

We didn't want to create a dating site but a community where people with pets can make friends, and wanted to do something that would incorporate the interests of people who feel passionate about their pets.

Pets are becoming surrogate children and are now very much a part of the family, especially so in the gay community where there are usually no children. This unique site was designed especially to bring gay people and their much loved pets together.

As well as offering a service where you can meet friends and chat, our site will host news of up and coming events relating to LGBT and pet interests.

We want to create a community where people can meet potential parnters and friends as well as integrating their interests with their love for their pets.

We aim to offer competitions for pet of the month using our rating system, designer pet wear, pet resources plus many other features inlcuding a forum.
