Pride in Brighton & Hove promotes equality and diversity, and advances education to eliminate discrimination against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community. It raises awareness of issues by promoting and staging a series of events including Winter Pride and the annual free summer festival and making grants and/or donations to other charitable and voluntary organisations. Our key objective is to develop an environment in favour of LGBT equality by providing information, advice and support.

We offer a range of services throughout England, Scotland and Wales – many of them tailored to suit the varied needs of our diverse communities.
(EJAF) is a UK registered, international non-profit organisation that exists to empower people infected, affected and at risk of HIV/AIDS. To alleviate their physical, emotional and financial hardship, enabling them to improve their quality of life, live with dignity and exercise self-determination. The charity was established in 1993 by Sir Elton John.
A sister organisation with an office in Los Angeles was established in 1992 to fund programmes in North America.
During the past fourteen years the two organisations have raised over US$100 million and supported over 4000 projects in 55 countries worldwide. Over 12 million people have been assisted.
The Elton John AIDS Foundation (UK) is the largest independent funder of HIV/AIDS projects within the United Kingdom. During 2005, we awarded grants totalling over £1 million to support 39 UK projects.
The Foundation is currently supporting 128 projects in 17 countries.
