Sara is more or less a self taught artist specialising in animal portraiture and the human figure. She is particularly interested in the surface of living things; our skin, fur and feathers. Her subjects exist in fields of solid colour; this allows them to exist without distraction or fuss and scratches all of the artists aesthetic itches. Her use of bold colour backgrounds married with photo real brush work results in contemporary yet classical paintings. Sara is a successful exhibiting and commission artist, with a studio base in Brighton.
